Description: The Association of Small Agroecological Producers of Laguna Raya (APPALAR) unites 64 families in the Yanesha Communal Reserve with the goal of fighting poverty and extractive activities in the region by improving the practices and the quality of cocoa and achiote production. The traditional process takes place in the Loma Linda Laguna native community.
Number of producers: 64 aprox.
