Description: The Tembé indigenous community lives in the Alto Rio Guamá indigenous territory, an area of 279,897 hectares in the northeast of Pará. The community generates income through various activities such as producing artisanal handicrafts and raising fish, poultry, and bees. One of their main sources of support to strcuture these socio-economic activities is the Pará Secretary of the Environment.
