Description: Kemito Ene is an indigenous association promoted by Central Ashaninka del Rio Ene (CARE) in order to improve the livelihoods of the Ashaninka population by increasing cacao and coffee production. Kemito Ene currently has 210 Ashaninka members from the Pangoa, Mazamari and Rio Tambo districts of Satipo, Junín, and aims to strengthen their management capacities in order to market their exceptional cacao and coffee to specialty markets.
